NICOLE JENKINS, M.A., CCC-SLP
Owner of Speech with Nicole
Nicole attended the University of Central Florida, where she received both her bachelor’s degree and master’s degree in communication sciences and disorders.
Although Nicole has experience working with adults in skilled nursing homes, assisted living facilities, and in a private aphasia-based clinic, her passion is working in the pediatric setting. She was inspired to pursue the field of speech-language pathology by her autistic younger brother and twin cousins who are hard-of-hearing.
Nicole is particularly passionate about early language development and advocating for augmentative and alternative communication (AAC). She has worked as an Early Steps provider for Florida’s early intervention program, received training in the AEIOU approach to pediatric feeding, specialized training in AAC, and is PROMPT trained (level 1).

In her free time, Nicole enjoys cooking, baking, crafting, traveling, spending time with family and friends, and taking her dog to the dog park.
