Frequently Asked Questions
Children typically say their first words by 12 months of age. By 18 months, they should be using between 50 to 150 words. By age 2, they should be using between 200 to 300 words. An explosion of language occurs between ages 2 and 3, where a child's vocabulary grows to around 1,000 words. Visit our resources page for more information about important milestones.
Treatment sessions are usually 30 minutes.
Every child is unique, so it is not possible to provide a specific timeframe. The duration of treatment depends on consistency of attending sessions, frequency of sessions, your child's attention and engagement during sessions, and several other factors.
We do not currently accept insurance; however, a monthly superbill can be provided upon request for reimbursement consideration from your insurance.
We currently accept credit card payments through our secure, online portal.
Yes! Speech with Nicole is a direct provider for FES-UA. You can use your scholarship funds to pay for initial evaluations, as well as continuing treatment sessions.
We travel to you! Sessions are conveniently held at your child's daycare or preschool during the school day, eliminating the need for after-work travel. Depending on our current schedule, we may be available to travel to you for in-home sessions. We currently serve Jacksonville, FL and its surrounding areas.
