Speech Sound Acquisition Chart
This chart lists the typical age of acquisition for English consonants. The age listed is when most children have mastered that sound. For example, most children have mastered the S sound by age 4.

This chart lists the approximate number of words a child should be using at different age levels. For example, a child should be using between 200 to 300 words at age 2, while a 3-year-old should be using around 1,000 words.
